Crash course to Sweden, Gotlands Nation

Gotland’s Nation welcomes you to Uppsala, Sweden!

New to Sweden and are having trouble navigating through the Swedish lifestyle? We are here to help with this quick crash course to Life here in Sweden!  No need to sign up, come as you are and we will welcome you with open arms. In the meantime, you will be offered the Swedish tradition of Fika with coffee and tea. If this is your first time in Sweden, this is definitely something you do not want to miss!

What do you know so far about Uppsala and student life? What are the Do’s and Don’t’s of living in Sweden? What is a personal number and where to get one? How does one make friends with the socially conservative Swedes? You had a short time here but we are here to provide answers to common questions! The course is for new international students, making friends, and having fun!

You need to be a recently arrived student to join, and you do not need to bring your temporary nation card or COVID pass for entry. (Subject to change due to COVID restrictions)

When entering, remember to follow instructions from the workers, keep a distance from others and not crowd the entryways of the nation.

You enter by going through the entrance facing the river.

See you there!
