At the home nation of Uppsala, we want everyone to feel welcome. We strive to be an inclusive nation so our events are mostly or partly in English. A lot of our active club workers and members are international students who have made the nation their community and family in Uppsala. Even when it comes to the full-timers who run the nation, only one is Swedish.

 You can visit our popular pub Svantes källare, in the summer known as Svantes trädgård, open Monday to Saturday 18-02.  Or do some studing while grabbing a nice fika in our study café open every weekday between 11 and 15. During the semester we also have several clubs and one Friday a month we have Jazzbar with nice music and tasty food.

At Uplands we are passionate about culture. We have a culture committee that goes to live performances and museums. We have an award-winning female choir and a well-known and entertaining orchestra Wijkmanska blecket.

If you don't go home for Christmas, our doors are open for everyone free of charge at Jul på Uplands, where you can either come to celebrate or make new friends by volunteering.
