Värmlands nation is one of the 13 student nations here in Uppsala dating back to 1660. Historically it represents the regions of Värmland and Dalsland and currently it counts approximately 3000 members.

The nation has a vivid presence in the everyday life and there is plenty of events and activities that all students can participate in.

Every week from Monday to Saturday students can visit the cozy cellar pub of Värmlands, Wermlands Källar’n and enjoy the homemade dishes and burgers from the menu that the kitchen master has composed as well as a selection of beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages that our club master has picked.

On Fridays we open the doors of our Friday club, Klubb Värmland which is open until 01.00 or 02.00 and it has housed several theme clubs during the years.

Moreover, the nation has a Sunday fika between 12.00 and 15.00 and at the same time one of the nation’s biggest groups, the salsa and bachata group Benwermarna is having its weekly rehearsals which are open for everyone to join.

In conclusion, all the activities mentioned above are run from students for students and of course every student is more than welcome to take a shift and work at the nation either in the pub, or clubs or rental (or everything!!) to experience from first hand the Uppsala studentnation experience.
