Nation Membership 

In order to get a nation card, you need to become a member of a nation. Nations offer special deals to members, such as discounted entrance fees, food discounts, and priority access to gasque (and other event) tickets. Note that being the member of one nation still allows you to access all 13 of the nation’s pubs, clubs and other events.

You can join a nation by going to their registration (in Swedish: Inskrivning) open hours, which can be found on each nation’s Facebook or website. At the registration, you can also get more information about the nation, so feel free to visit multiple (or all!) nations before joining.

If you arrive after February 14th, or do not join a nation before then, you can still register by going to the nation’s main office (usually known as the Expedition, or ‘expen’ for short) and ask for the first curator (1Q) who is in charge of membership.

Student discounts

Your nation card is also your Studentkortet, which allows you to get a student discount on UL and SJ transportation, as well as other student deals, as seen on their website.
