The International Committee

The International Committee (or IK, short for Internationella konventet) is the group responsible for making international students feel welcome in Uppsala and representing their interests in the nations. We do this predominantly through hosting events, both as a committee and within each nation.

The committee consists of international secretaries from each nation (usually two), a president, vice president, secretary, and travel coordinator.

The International Committee is a subcommittee of the Kuratorskonventet (Curators Committee), the bridge organisation between the 13 nations in Uppsala who works directly with Uppsala University, Uppsala Student Union, and Uppsala Municipality.
