Feskekôrka pub night, Göteborgs Nation

Welcome to our special international pub night about Swedish food. In its essence, it will be a normal pub-night where you can hang, have drinks, and enjoy your time. But instead of our usual menu, we want to welcome you to Sweden by introducing you to the unique Swedish cuisine! Feskekôrkan means „fish-church“ in Gothenburgian Swedish and is an infamous fish and shellfish market in Gothenburg which has its own seafood restaurant. It has its name because the architecture of the building strongly resembles a church, even though it never was one nor was it intended to be one.

Feskekôrkan opens its gates to you on Wednesday the 25th of August at 6pm. There is no entry fee or need to sign-up and tables are distributed as available (with the recommendations of the Swedish health agency in mind). However, you will have to present a nation/guest card at the entrance and entry is restricted to international students only!
